Please Note: We do not remove or refill biab, gel or acrylic enhancement work carried out by other nail technicians. We cannot guarantee the quality of the nails or that our nail products would be the same or compatible. This can cause lifting or yellowing of the products as not all nail systems are chemically matched.

gel nails
|
Gel nails (or hard gel) were the next generation of nail enhancements to be created.
They are a light-cured product that is a little more flexible than traditional acrylics. They are still hard-wearing and durable but they need to be filed off rather than soaked off. Gel is usually scooped from a pot and applied to the nail in layers building the nail shape, each one being cured in a UV/LED light. As the curing process for gel nails takes only seconds to minutes compared to the slow cure of acrylic, there can be a heat spike as the molecules give off energy as they cure. |
builder structure gel in a bottle (biab) nails
Builder In A Bottle is the latest and very popular trend in nail enhancements.
It is classed as a soft gel and is a flexible structure or builder gel overlay on natural nails that gives a strong, thin support to natural nails that are thin, weak or in need of help, but you don't want the full length of extensions. You can extend only to a short/medium length. It is applied to the nails with a polish brush similar to gel polish. It is a softer gel than traditional hard gels and can be soaked off, but is strong and durable also. |

How to Care for Your Nail Enhancements
- Treat your nails like jewels not tools!! Do not bite, pick or file your enhancements. This can cause them to lift, become weak and break, and possibly cause damage and thinning to your natural nails.
- If you experience any lifting, cracking or breaks you must contact the salon and come in as soon as possible for a repair to prevent infection of the nail plate
- If removing nail polish, always use an Acetone Free nail polish remover. Acetone causes nail enhancements to weaken.
- Apply and massage cuticle oil to the cuticle area regularly
- Wear your rubber gloves when carrying out household chores
